Easy to measure out in small or large amounts, Stature SC goes into solution faster as a liquid suspension and is packaged as a 25 fl. oz. container, a size that fits all ornamental operations.

Development of fungicide resistance is of particular concern for foliar pathogens such as downy mildews and some Phytophthora species. Dimethomorph, the active ingredient, has shown no cross resistance with metalaxyl and menfenoxam insensitive isolates in field or laboratory assays.

Stature SC Gets Results On Phytophthoras:

Diseases Controlled By Stature SC

Used as a protectant, Stature SC provides excellent control of the following crown and root rots:

• Phytophthora cinnamomi
• Phytophthora dreschleri
• Phytotphtora nicotianae/parasitica
• Phytophthora cryptogea

Stature SC is a top performer in trials for control of the following stem and foliar blights¹:

• Phytophthora nicotianae/parasitica, the causal agent of aerial blight
• Phytophthora ramorum the causal agent of sudden oak death

The active ingredient in Stature SC is an industry standard in the control and prevention of downy mildew diseases caused by¹:

• Bremia
• Peronospora
• Plasmopara
• Pseudoperonospora spp.

Stature SC is a protectant and is best used as a preventive application. If curative applications are needed for control of stem and foliar blights or for the curative control of downy mildew, it is best to combine Stature SC with a contact fungicide such as chlorothalonil or mancozeb.

Where To Use Stature SC

Stature SC is labeled for use in greenhouse, field and container nurseries, shadehouses and lathhouses, including conifer seedling nurseries.

Keys To Success

Use Stature SC as a preventive application or at first sign of disease.

For crown- and root-rotting Phytophthoras: Use a ‘sprench,’ or heavy spray, to crown with through wetting of surface (of pot or soil), or drench, directing all of the application into the soil surrounding the roots. When making drench applications never apply to dry soils or substrates. When making drench applications do not irrigate or apply additional water to pots/plants for several hours to allow for fungicide uptake.

For P. nicotianae/ parasitica*: Best control of aerial blight occurs if combined with mancozeb or when rotated in 14-day interval with Insignia® fungicide or other fungicides that provide good response on this disease.

For sudden oak death: Stature SC will limit the number of infection sites and stop sporulation of P. ramorum* when applied prior to infection.

For downy mildew control: Apply Stature SC on 7-14 day rotation and make no more than 2 consecutive applications then switch to another fungicide with a different mode of action such as Pageant™ fungicide or Insignia. Combine with mancozeb when applied curatively under disease epidemic. Spray interval should not exceed 14 days when conditions are present for disease. Follow resistance management guidelines found on the label.

*The use of a penetrator oil surfactant can be combined with Stature SC for applications to woody plants when targeting stem and crown Phytophthoras.
